Several students of the Master in Renewable Energies, Climate Change and Sustainable Development (MERYCSE) of the USC have been selected to carry out their external practices in projects of Greening Africa Together (GATo, Greening Africa Together | United World Project). These internships will take place in several African countries, providing their knowledge on photovoltaic energies, carbon offsetting, sustainability and circular economy.

The Greening Africa Together network, coordinated by the Berlin University of Technology, and which USC has just joined through MERYCSE, is made up of more than 40 partners including universities, NGOs and small African companies. The objective of GaTo is the development of technological cooperation projects in down-up initiatives. The projects supported by the network, based on service-learning, enable collaboration between students and local communities of different cultures and nationalities, fostering local empowerment and the development of sustainable communities.
