A student of the Master in Renewable Energies, Climate Change and Sustainable Development (MERYCSE) wins the Extraordinary Prize for the 2019/20 academic year

On 25 February 2021, former MERYCSE student Loisa Lariño was awarded the Extraordinary Prize for the 2019/2020 academic year of the aforementioned master’s degree.

Loisa is currently continuing her training as a student of the PhD Programme in Renewable Energies and Energy Sustainability under the tutelage of Professor Ángeles López Agüera. Her thesis, provisionally entitled Development and integration of a hybrid renewable energy systems optimization tool into NEXUS sustainability transitions, seeks to solve the current lack of tools for the design of renewable energy facilities that work under the NEXUS philosophy in tandem with the CLEWs tool.
